Marvel, Tom Holland Bid Goodbye to Marvel Legend Steve Ditko

NEW YORK, USA — Last Saturday, Marvel Entertainment tweeted a photo tribute to the co-creator of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange Steve Ditko who passed away at the age of 90 due to a heart attack. “Thank you, Steve. Rest in Peace,” said Marvel’s tweet.

Steve Ditko is one of the most acclaimed comic artists of all time. Alongside Stan Lee, Ditko helped in creating some of the famous Marvel superheroes. In addition, he also worked for other publishers such as DC Comics where he created The Creeper, Blue Beetle, and Hawk and Dove.

Last June 29, New York Police Department reported that he was found dead in his apartment. According to a chief medical examiner, Ditko’s cause of death is “arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease”. Meaning, clogged arteries caused him to have a heart attack.
