Angel Locsin might have been out of television for five years but apparently the top notch actress was still being paid by her home network ABS-CBN that whole time. RELATED: Why Angel Locsin Almost Resigned From ABS-CBN Angel couldn’t be happier to be back on television after taking a break from taking on a lead role on the small screen for five years but does not regret the time she took away from the limelight. “Honestly, sumusuweldo naman po ako kahit wala akong ginagawa. So okay lang sa akin. Kumbaga, mas pabor po sa akin. So ngayon, kailangan ko nang mag-work kasi five years na akong sumusuweldo.” shared Angel during the press conference of The General’s Daughter in The Dolphy Theater at ABS-CBN. This is Angel’s comeback after taking a hiatus from starring in The Legal Wife back in 2014. Angel couldn’t be happier to be back on the small screen as she is part of a powerhouse cast that includes Paulo Avelino, JC de Vera, Arjo Atayde, Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte, “I think, ito yung perfect moment na babalik ako ng teleserye kasi nandito po lahat ng mga dream kong maging katrabaho.” The actress couldn’t be happier to be working with the group that she’s part of and says that working with her cast contributes to the focus that she has now. “I’m really happy with the group, mahal ko mga katrabaho ko. Yun lang ang concentration ko,” shared Angel. The General’s Daughter premiered on national television last Monday and has since then been enjoying good ratings as compared to its rival show.
“Lahat kami ang focus ay pagandahin ang show for the people, kasi yun lang naman ang trabaho namin, to entertain. At sana mapasaya namin kayo kahit papaano dito sa The General’s Daughter,” shared Angel. Read more:View this post on Instagram
