From Marvel and DC universe superheroes to your favorite comic artist and celebrities, here’s everything that went down on last week’s AsiaPOP Comic Convention 2018.
The 3-day event was joined by different fandoms such as Marvel, DC, Netflix, and everything anime!
AsiaPop Comicon 2018 Highlights
JULY 27: Exhibits, meet and greets, cosplay and more!
All your Riverdale dreams will come true here! On the first day, a variety of fans are spotted at the event. Likewise, Netflix TV shows series, “Riverdale” featured exhibits that included “Josie and the Pussycats” which was rumored to have a show early last year. Other booths also promoted “Iron Fist” due to its upcoming season this September.
Moreover, an exhibitors area was also launched for Marvel, DC, anime and other comic fans that joined the convention. Some of the collectibles that are found are comics, books, toys, and collections. How cool is that?
Consequently, everyone’s favorite Jollibee Funko Pops were also sold and caused lengthy queues.
A Jollibee autograph signing was also held in the convention! Cute, right?
Furthermore, Canadian Actor Osric Chau, best known as Kevin Tran in TV series Supernatural, gave his fans a taste of heaven after his meet and greet in AsiaPop Comicon.
Don’t’ go yet because the fun just started! Here are some of the remarkable Cosplayers from day 1 of the convention.
July 28: Autograph, Meet and Greet, Photograph Sessions, Events, and Showcases.
One of the highlights of second day is the Hall N featuring Finn Jones and show runner and writer of Iron Fist Raven Metzner.
Second is the meet and greet with the cast of Marvel’s Luke Cage, Mike Colter, and Mustafa Shakir.
Similar to day 1 of the convention, fandoms are once again spotted, but this time, in bigger numbers. International actors such as Tye Sheridan and Game of Thrones star, Finn Jones, gave their fans a sweet treat with their meet and greet.

In addition, local stars such as David Guison, Mari Jasmine, and Donny Pangilinan gave their fans tips and tricks on how to make your career boom online.

Besides that, International artists such as Simone Legno, Michelle Valigura, and Amanda Visell shared their inspirations and aspirations for how they create beautiful and stunning artworks.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! Professional Cosplayers such as Vera Chimera, Yugana Senshi Uon, Leon Chiro and Canvas Cosplay joined the convention as well. Cosplayers gave their beloved fans words of guidance and inspirations to how they should believe in themselves.

July 29: More meet and greets, More autograph signings, and More Fun!
On the last day of the convention. Meets and greets with Tye Sheridan and Finn Jones happened once again. Comic artist, Alex Sinclair, shared his knowledge and process on how to bring comic book characters to life using the art of hues and colors.
