Captain Marvel Drops First Official Trailer And Brie Larson Puts The Her In Hero

After months of anticipating a solo female Marvel superhero film, Marvel Studios finally came through and released the first official trailer of Captain Marvel!

The first look of Captain Marvel didn’t disappoint as it radiates pure girl power in the 2-minute trailer.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building up for this moment for years in preparation for the finale of Avengers: Infinity War. Fans believe that Captain Marvel will be the answer to finally defeating Thanos. And after the stressful and heartbreaking ending of Avengers: Infinity War, it’s understandable that we are all anxious to know what happens next. It seems like the MCU has just been waiting for the right moment to release the first ever superhero film with a female lead role. And thankfully, that time is now.

Captain Marvel: Earth’s Mightiest Avenger

The Room actress, Brie Larson will portray the lead role, Carol Danvers, or as we will all eventually know her, Captain Marvel. The film will take place in the 90’s and it will also feature some familiar faces, such as Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill.

If you remember the end credits of the Avengers: Infinity war, we witnessed half of the population turn to dust, including these two S.H.I.E.L.D  agents, Hill and Fury. However, before the two vanished into thin air, Fury was seen dialing a number on his old pager. Right after he vanished, we saw Captain Marvel’s logo in his pager.

Just how strong could Captain Marvel be for Nick Fury to call her at the last resort?
