Here’s Why Careless Music Manila Opening For Khalid Is A Big Deal

It’s going to be a night full of “young, dumb, and broke” kids in Araneta Coliseum as American singer and songwriter, Khalid, graces the stage this November 2.

Set to open for Khalid are James Reid, Nadine Lustre, and the Careless Music Manila Crew – and here’s why it’s a BIG deal.

CMM’s first major gig

The recent release of the Careless Mixtape was a huge success for the seven OPM artists. Ever since releasing their 15 tracks, the buzz for Careless Music Manila hasn’t died down. Sure, they performed in underground music scenes and speakeasies, but this time, they’ll be performing in front of thousands of people!

It’s Khalid!

Khalid has been making waves worldwide with his hit songs, “Location” and “Young, Dumb, and Broke.” The praise for his debut album, “American Teen” has garnered him fans all over the world! Getting to open for the 20-year old American singer would open doors for our Filipino artists!

International Spotlight

There’s no denying the global appeal in James Reid’s music. The success of “Palm Dreams,” his first album, was recognized even internationally. He won “Best Southeast Asia Act” for MTV Europe Music Awards just last year. And this year, he produced more songs in the Careless Mixtape that’s just as infectious! This time, he shares the international spotlight with Nadine Lustre, along with the rest of the crew;  Bret Jackson (KingWaw), Sofia Romualdez, Curtismith, Astrokidd, and Massaiah.
