Diego Loyzaga Denies Break Up With Sofia Andres

The tandem of Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres is definitely one of the strongest in this messy and crazy world of showbiz. In this industry where break ups and fall outs happen a little too often, people automatically assume that a pair has broken up when they start to lie low. But in his Tonight With Boy Abunda guesting, young actor Diego Loyzaga denies that he has broken up with Sofia Andres, both on and off screen. “That is something that is so not true. Pinalaki lang yan. Inigo (Pascual), Sofia, Maris, and I are very close friends. We talked about it of course and it’s sad na may gumawa pa nung ganung issue,” Diego clarified. He also clarified once and for all: “Walang naghiwalay. Hindi kami naghiwalay ni Sofia.”

When asked what was his biggest mistake so far, Diego answered:  “I think the mistake I learned the most from was probably the issue that happened last year with my father and I. I think it’s a really big stepping stone. I think it made me grow as a person, grow as a man and It made me realize a lot of things. I wish things could have been different. I wish we could have talked in person, sana nag-usap kami.”

Diego was talking about the incident that happened last February 2017 when he lashed out on his father Cesar Montano on social media wherein he called his father a liar and hypocrite. Currently, Diego said that he’s making an effort to reach out to his father and reconnect to learn something from him. “Nanghihinayang ako eh. Kung kelan sobrang seryoso na ako sa ginagawa ko dito sa show business. And I want to learn so much. I’ve been taking workshops with Tito Pen Medina at kung sinu-sino pa. Why not my Dad? Nanghihinayang lang ako, sa konting oras na siguro meron kami. I think it’s about time, even for showbiz’s sake, for learning’s sake. Whatever I can learn from him.” Currently, Diego just finished  Pusong Ligaw with Sofia and is preparing for upcoming projects this 2018. Read more:
