DonKiss Will Also Be Part of "Playhouse" Teleserye!

It looks like the first part of 2018 is for DonKiss for the taking, because aside from the recently announced participation of their pairing in the film, Walwal, it was just announced last night that Donnie Pangilinan will star alongside Kisses Delavin in the teleserye, Playhouse! The news was first announced by Vaughn Hautea, one of the Advertising and Promo Specialists of ABS-CBN. Playhouse is the teleserye starring Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes star, Angelica Panganiban who will be paired with My Dear Heart leading man, Zanjoe Marudo. Angelica confirmed late December that she has started taping for the serye. Other actors said to be part of Playhouse include Smokey Manaloto, Dexter Doria, Malou De Guzman, and Nadia Montenegro. The trailer showing quirky and playful feels was released last November, where Angelica and Zanjoe are shown as a couple reminiscing about their good times, but about to break up. Zanjoe is optimistic, while Angelica is negative. A child appears suddenly at the end, who says that he has to be with them as their adopted child. Could this child help them or break them apart? It looks like DonKiss will be really busy this first half of the year, with a serye and a film that they’ll be creating! Kisses plays Zanjoe’s younger sister in the serye.  These are some of netizens’ reactions: Two love teams? If ever, Kisses will be very busy with two leading men this year. After her confirmed projects with Donny, her other leading man, actor Tony Labrusca has also said in a recent interview that he’s excited to work with the young actress this year. He also says that their personalities jive. So it looks like Kisses and Tony will have their projects together as well this 2018. (Or maybe have a love triangle with Donny?) “The times that I’ve spent with Kisses have been so much fun,” he shared in an interview with Star Cinema. “Yung personalities namin we really get along. Magka-jive kami ni Kisses. Excited ako kung magkakatrabaho kami this year. Already magkakatrabaho na kami so kung tuloy-tuloy na ‘yun this year, walang problema sa akin. Actually, super excited ako. It’s nice that you’re working with somebody and andyan sila–‘di ka lang mag-isa. Excited for that and abangan na lang nila yung susunod na ganap namin.  Their pairing known as KissTon has also been gaining followers, especially as they show more and more chemistry just like in Kisses’ solo concert held last Saturday where they sent fans swooning with their The Greatest Showman-inspired performances.
