Maja Salvador for Inside Showbiz Weekly

THE DANCE PRINCESS RETURNS The multi-talented star will then return to one of her loves, performing, with a worldwide concert tour titled “Maja On Stage” “Magical.” This is the word Maja Salvador uses to describe her 2017. “Kasi ang bilis nung mga pangyayari,” she explains. “Nung merong I’m Drunk I Love You, ang daming nag-love sa character ko na si Carson, and then even Wildflowerang daming nag-love kay Ivy Aguas and Lily Cruz.” Was it one of her best years? “Yes, yes, sobra, kahit saang aspeto!” replies the Wildflower star. “Sa teleserye, sa movies—naging okay ang lahat!”

NO REGRETS, JUST LOVE

We ask Maja Salvador about the challenges and learnings she experienced last year. She pauses and reflects, then says when it comes to her personal life and career, there’s none really, or if ever there is, it’s minimal. “Sa health, masyado kong binugbog ‘yung sarili kokaya sabi ko sa sarili ko dapat pinakikinggan ko ‘yung katawan ko. Kasi paano ako makakapag-work kung ‘di naman ako fit, ‘di ba?” she says.
Maja further elaborates why she thinks she doesn’t have any regrets when it comes to her love life last year. “Once I’m in love, I’m in love. I don’t think it’s a mistake,” she explains. “Ganoon naman talaga ako.” Maja admits she started seeing someone last year, who is not from showbiz. The actress says that her dream guy is someone who is God-fearing and loves his family. “At alam niya ‘yung purpose niya sa buhay at purpose niya sa akin,” she adds.

A BETTER PERSON IN MANY ASPECTS

Maja is also focused on personal improvement and development for this year. For her 2018 personal goals, Maja says she would love to travel, which is why she’s happy that she’s doing the concert tour so she can sightsee on the side.
She also says she wants to continue her English lessons this year. She started it online last year with AMA Education Online, but she wants to have a personal teacher this 2018. “Segurista kasi ako kaya gusto ko, [siguradong] correct ‘yung ginawa ko,” she explains. “May tutor pa rin.” With all the feathers in her cap and big plans for 2018, we have no doubt that this Kapamilya leading lady will soar even higher as the years come and go.
