Jordan already proved how amazing and hero-fit he is in Black Panther as villain Erik Killmonger. But we won’t make you hope too much, because Warner Bros. said that they will be focusing more on “SuperGirl,” so a new Superman movie won’t be in the works any time soon.

Cavill was supposedly set to have a cameo on DC’s film Shazam! however, due to schedule conflicts of the actor, DC was forced to drop his role and focus on his lead role in The Witcher as Geralt of Rivia. Nonetheless, the production team is still on good terms with the actor according to the WB spokesperson.

“We have a great relationship and great respect for Henry Cavill that continues to remain unchanged. Additionally, we have made no current decisions regarding any upcoming Superman films” stated by WB spokesperson.
