Hit K-Pop girl group Momoland proved they can charm people across ages on their fan meeting in the Philippines recently at the Araneta Coliseum.
Families, groups of friends, and children did not miss the set of performances of the charismatic girl group with their viral 2018 hit “BBoom BBoom,” that got everyone dancing to its beat. Their next hit “BAAM” that also featured Philippines’ baro’t saya and famous jeepneys in its music video.
Third time’s a charm, they said.
It might be Momoland’s third time in the Philippines, but they are still ecstatic to hold their first official fan meeting in the country. “Actually, it’s our third time in the Philippines and finally we got to do a fan meeting with you guys. So, I’m so excited,” said member Nancy.
“We didn’t know that we would be able to perform in a place like this, receiving the love of all Filipino Merries,” member Jane also said.

5. Momoland minus one
Momoland came to the fan meeting missing their member, Hyebin because of an injury. Even so, the girls made sure her absence was filled with energetic and charismatic performances for all Filipino Merries. Their debut single, “Welcome to Momoland” opened the night with their cute and lovely performance followed by their other songs “Bingo Game.” “Freeze,” “Jjan! Koong! Kwang!,”
4. Getting to Know Momoland
A special segment for Momoland fan meeting is the candid photos of unnamed members where fans guessed them. Fans had the opportunity to get to know more about the members in a question and answer portion for the members.
3. Surprise subunit performances
Momoland prepared various performances to surprise their fans. They teamed up and sang songs for their PH fans. Taeha and Ahin sang, “I Need You and I Want You,” the original soundtrack from the Korean 2018 drama “Cross.”
Yeonwoo, Jane, and Nayun performed Girl’s Day’s song, “Something,” while Nancy, JooE, and Daisy performed 2NE1’s “Can’t Nobody.”
2. “Salamat” Performance
One of the highlights of the night is when Momoland prepared a Filipino song, “Salamat” by Yeng Constantino. Who knew these girls can sing in Filipino well?

Dancing to the repeating beats of “BBoom BBoom” and “BAAM” as they did selfies with their fans. A lot of lucky fans got lucky and they got the chance to have selfies with members of Momoland.
