The long wait is over as Fox+ finally releases their 10 fan-favorite shows this October.
From life-saving good doctors to scary American horror stories. We listed them all down for you!
10. The Walking Dead Season 9 (Premiers October 7, 11:30 am)
October is the season release of the The Walking Dead, we all know this. Starting next week, a lot of questions will be answered (or added) as the show’s latest season will air on Fox+. With new characters and villains (The Whisperers) coming in, surely, there will be more life-fighting and storytelling to be awaited.
9. American Horror Story: Apocalypse (New episodes every Wednesday, 12 pm)
There have been a lot of rumors that have built up about this season. Nevertheless, fans can surely look forward to seeing their favorite actors come back to play a part in the iconic show. Stars from previous seasons, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Jessica Lange will be back, joined by the legend, Dame Joan Collins.
8. Modern Family (New episodes every Wednesday, 12 pm)
The 1oth season of Modern Family teased audiences that a death of a “significant character” will happen. This led fans to be alarmed whether who it will be. Series creator Christopher Lloyd didn’t reveal anything whether it’s going to be a part of the main family or not. Nonetheless, we’ll surely be here to watch the crazy adventures of Dunphy family along the way!
7. Fresh Off the Boat (Premiers October 6, 12 pm )
The only running sitcom starring Asian-American family is far from leaving us yet. Constance Wu, whom you have probably seen as Rachel Chu in Crazy Rich Asians will still be there to bring us hysterical laughter with her family. Featuring Ming-Na Wen from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the matriarch of the family, prepare for more hilarious stories that are coming to this neighborhood.
6. The Resident (New episodes every Tuesday, 12 pm)
Jenna Dewan (World of Dance) is set to have a recurring role in this season. Familiar faces like Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife and Gilmore Girls), Bruce Greenwood (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and Mad Men), and Emily VanCamp (Revenge) will continue to be in the show.
5. The Good Doctor (New episodes every Monday, 12 pm)
Dr. Shaun Murphy is back for a new season with new challenges. His mentor and guardian Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) undergoes treatment for his brain cancer while Lisa Edelstein, best known for her role in another hit medical drama House, joins the cast as an expert oncologist who will be treating Dr. Glassman’s cancer.
4. 9-1-1 (New episodes every Monday, 12 pm)
The season 2 trailer teases viewers a huge earthquake that will set off a series of emergencies for the first responders to face. Last season’s Call-center operator Abby, played by Connie Britton, will be not be coming back to the series and will be replaced by Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie. On the other hand, regular casts such as Angela Basset and Peter Krause will continue to be in the show.
3. The Gifted (New episodes every Wednesday, 12 pm)
Marvel Comics X-Men universe based series is back for its 2nd season with more stories such as the 7/15 incident that led to the anti-mutant policy and sentiment will be revealed. New characters are set to come as the world gets bigger for the mutants.
2. New Amsterdam (New episodes every Wednesday, 12 pm)
A new medical drama unlike any other! Dr. Max Goodwin – New Amsterdam’s brash but brilliant new medical director upends the status quo of this lumbering giant of an institution to inspire hope and passion in this understaffed, underfunded, and underappreciated hospital.
1. A Million Little Things (New episodes every Thursday, 12 pm)
A series starring Ron Livingston (Friday Night Lights), James Roday (Psych), Romany Malco (Weeds), and David Guintoli (Grimm). A series that revolves around a friendship between four men in Boston who formed a bond when they got stuck in an elevator together. A decade later, all four are at different levels of success, yet all feel stuck in life — until one of them killed himself, jarring everybody else’s lives in the aftermath.
