The pop star and YouTube sensation, Troye Sivan graced the Manila stage for ‘The Bloom Tour’ last night, May 1, 2019, in Mall of Asia Arena.

But Troye is no stranger to the Capital as he previously visited Manila for his SM Youth campaign in 2017. This time, MMI Live and Live Nation, together with Smart as the presenter, brought Troye back to Manila as part of the seven-city Asian leg of his ongoing tour.

After his striking opening performance of the song, ‘Seventeen’ from his Bloom album, the singer asked a question that all of us were thinking: “Why did it take me this long to come back to Manila?”

The South African-born Australian singer performed his hits songs from his 2015 Blue Neighbourhood album – the album that introduced him to the pop mainstream. His singles such as ‘Youth,’ and ‘Wild’ which landed in the Billboard Top Ten were part of the setlist last night. Along with his popular songs from his Bloom Album, fan-favorite songs; ‘Dance To This,’ ‘My, My, My,’ and ‘Lucky Strike.’

After the encore, Troye said something to hold on to for his Manila-based fans: ‘Manila, I promise I’ll come back.’
